President Argues that Insurance Mandate is a Tax

President Obama has not exactly been known for his forthrightness, so this comes as little shock.

The administration is now openly arguing that the health insurance mandate is a tax, an argument that the President himself adamantly said was not true.

I believe we have a right to demand more of our political leaders. I understand the demands of politics, but at the very least, we should demand honesty. If you cannot win a political battle without being honest, then you should not win it.

We should repeal the Obamacare legislation. However, luckily, the courts are likely to strike down at least the mandate.
